Reclaiming the Basement
This was a really fun project to watch develop. What started as a dark and uninviting basement has been transformed into a functional entertaining space, featuring a cozy wine room with custom wine box floor and a kitchenette / bar. The LVT flooring throughout adds a high-end look and is well suited for sub-grade conditions. The drop ceiling was eliminated in favor of an exposed joist ceiling, making the basement feel taller. All ceiling surfaces and fixtures were then finished black to bring the eye down into the room.

It was a great effort by our team last week to finalize the interior for move-in at our Hawthorne renovation. This is one of our favorite phases of the project, in which our entire team comes together to inspect every detail to ensure the space looks great.

We had great time partnering on the buildout of Pure Barre Toledo, and Pure Barre Perrysburg is proving to be equally exciting! Everyone is energized to see the light at the end of the construction timeline and preparing for the grand opening..! Historical Hawthorne Addition - [Gallery Update]
November weather in Northwest Ohio has been very cooperative, and the three-car garage addition is moving along right on schedule. Rough framing is nearing completion and sealing the building envelope from the elements has begun. We are using a product called VaproShield for this critical step.. specifically their Self-Adhered weather barrier membrane. This sheet membrane is water resistant and vapor permeable, and the self-adhering backer seals tightly to the substrate and resists tearing from fastener penetrations. In other words, this premium product will provide a superb weather barrier during construction, and an excellent air barrier when all is said and done… and it looks pretty cool too!
Outdoor Living on the Meadow.
A project sparked by a love for the big game and desire for a more functional patio area for entertaining. This stone and wood structure beautifully complements the house. On game day, seating is ample for a large crowd , while the 180 deg. views from the all-weather TV ensure no one misses a play. The state-of-the-art outdoor grilling station, wood burning fireplace and Bromic outdoor heater allow you to spend the entire day outdoors in any season. Kitchen & Bath Renovation - [Project Start]
It's always fun to break out the demolition chute! Our team started demolition and house protection last week and, in a day, made way for the new kitchen and master bath.
It is important to us that the rest of the house is protected and our clients are not inconvenienced as they remain in the home for the duration of the project.
